Our customer base is spread over a wide geographical area thanks to the fact that, once any initial consultancy has been performed and details of the project agreed, much of the development work involved in actually producing the software can typically be performed remotely. Our customer list includes organisations in locations as far flung as Sweden, the United States and Australia, although the majority of our customers are based somewhat closer to us in the UK.
However, many of our customers like to collaborate closely on a face-to-face basis, particularly in the early stages of a project, when there is a lot of integration work to be done, or for some detailed troubleshooting. This process can benefit from a local presence, which is a primary driver behind our Bristol office, but we also send staff onto client sites around the UK and as far away as Australia for on-site, side-by-side working.
London
Softwire is currently based in Kentish Town in north London which provides us with excellent communication links to central London, the South-East and other major cities within the UK.
Bristol
Softwire has a second office in Bristol city centre. This provides a local presence for clients in the South West of England and in Wales, as well as providing an alternative base for our staff.
