Senior Sales Manager

Softwire is looking to recruit a Senior Sales Manager for a new recruitment and training venture.

We’re a leading Digital Agency with strong design and engineering credentials. We’ve built software to stream Glastonbury’s headliners, to help the fuel-poor improve their homes, and to enable Moorfields Eye Hospital to better diagnose eye disease using machine learning. We are a team of over 150, dedicated to helping our clients achieve their ambitions.  We’ve done this by recruiting the brightest graduates and training them up to become exceptional software development professionals. We now want to take our expertise in recruitment and training and make it available to a wider market.

The role will require a hands-on approach, and an entrepreneurial attitude.  To be successful, you will need a background in sales and business development within the recruitment industry.  You will be able to manage and co-ordinate more junior staff, develop business strategy and engage with clients in a consultative fashion.

You will take responsibility for driving the sales of the new venture, building a portfolio of accounts and shaping our strategy.  You will have experience working with talented people in a collaborative way.

Your Approach

  • You take a consultative approach to sales and marketing, and build strong relationships with the people you work with
  • You are comfortable taking the initiative and figuring out what needs to be done
  • You communicate clearly, both internally and to clients

Package

  • Up to £80k, including bonus, depending on experience
  • 25 days holiday with the option to buy/sell additional days
  • Up to 7 days annually for conference attendance, charity volunteering or morale activities
  • Flexible working hours
