Farooq Ansari

Farooq had always loved technology and shiny gadgets as a child but didn’t initially consider a career in the space. After studying Politics, Philosophy and Economics at Oxford, he went to law school, where he qualified as a solicitor.

He then spent several years working in law in the City of London, before his childhood love of tech came calling. He quit the city and has since gained experience in a range of digital project and product management roles, as well as technology sales and client direction.

“I was initially attracted to Softwire by the hugely impressive range of work the company has delivered across so many major clients and sectors,” he says. “As I got to know the organisation more, I was really taken by the vibrant and positive culture here, which shone through everyone I met.

“I love the fact that I’m working with a great bunch of people, all of whom are both talented and supportive. It’s my mission to find projects that offer my colleagues exciting challenges, and that are a good fit with our values and culture.”

Farooq joined Softwire as Business Development Manager in 2022.
