Responsible AI | GITEX Global, Dubai

This event took place on 17th October 2025

Responsible AI should not just be a talking point – it’s becoming a practical necessity. As regulation accelerates and risk assessments move into the mainstream, 2025 could be the year organisations are forced to bridge the gap between principle and practice.

Softwire will be at GITEX Global in Dubai, one of the world’s largest technology events, exploring the future of AI and digital transformation.

Responsible AI: From Principles to Practice – is 2025 the tipping point?

The spotlight on Responsible AI has grown, with explainability, safety and compliance now central to enterprise AI strategies. But are enforceable standards really taking hold, or are most organisations still stuck at the level of principles?

Join Yemi Olagbaiye, Director of AI Strategy & Transformation at Softwire, alongside leaders from Telekom, Credit Agricole CIB and Abundance Studio, as they explore:

  • How regulation and risk assessments are reshaping enterprise AI adoption
  • The tools and frameworks making Responsible AI measurable in practice
  • Barriers to scaling beyond pilot projects into sustainable governance models
  • What “Responsible AI” really looks like when it delivers business impact
  • Expect a forward-looking discussion on whether this is the long-awaited tipping point.

Yemi Olagbaiye

Director, AI Strategy & Transformation

With over 15 years of experience spanning sales, consulting, and innovation strategy, Yemi sits at the intersection of commercial growth and emerging technologies.

His work focuses on helping large enterprises (from his media, entertainment, and consumer portfolio he leads, through a range of other customers across retail, finance, and healthcare) unlock business and customer value through data, AI, and digital transformation. As one of the firm’s most senior commercial leaders, Yemi has driven multi-million-pound growth across both public and private sector portfolios. He now spearheads Softwire’s push into AI strategy, advising clients on how to harness AI not just for productivity gains, but for differentiation, clarity, and long-term resilience.

Known for his provocative takes on the future of AI, Yemi believes we’re entering a new era where taste, (not just technical ability), becomes a strategic asset. He champions the shift from execution to curation as the defining leadership skill of the AI age and argues that organisations must reimagine how decisions are made, communicated, and trusted in a world increasingly shaped by machine-generated output.
