Here at Softwire, we are always on the lookout for talented individuals to join our team.
You’ll work with the industry’s smartest people and collaborate on leading-edge projects in a relaxed and informal atmosphere, refreshingly free of bureaucracy.
For the last decade, we’ve secured our spot in The Sunday Times Best Small Companies to Work For listing, and plan to stay there.
Softwire was founded on one simple idea: to create the best possible environment for building software.
From graduates looking for internships to engineers, designers and consultants, we have the perfect role for you.
Our benefits are built with you in mind and tailored to suit individuals at all life stages.
These ‘core values’ are the values on which Softwire company culture is based.
We don’t claim to be the ultimate embodiment of these values – that’s not really possible for a commercial organisation – we just try harder to live by them than other companies and believe that we are more successful in promoting them.
We place a big emphasis on quality, in terms of our staff, processes and output.
Employees are given a lot of flexibility and trust, and we’re generally quite relaxed.
We pay close attention to employee welfare and offer our staff a great working environment and working conditions.
We work towards making the tech sector a more open, diverse and fair place for everyone. We donate our time, expertise, and cash to causes that need them the most, from pro-bono software projects to charity fundraisers.
Those who contribute the most are given responsibility and remunerated accordingly – regardless of seniority.
Employees receive a large amount of information about the company and the management is very transparent.
Employees also have a say in company decisions, for example in approving changes to the way bonuses are allocated or how our dedicated perks budget for promoting staff morale is spent. And all employees, from recent recruits to senior management, share the same workspace and enjoy the same perks.
We encourage employees to strive for continuous improvement, both for Softwire in general and for their individual contribution to its success.
Meet some of the people behind our success.
We are looking for talented and enthusiastic individuals to join our team, creating technologies which make organisations thrive.
Information for non-UK applicants
All roles and internships require employees to be based in the UK and to work from one of our offices – the only exception being when covid restrictions necessitate temporary remote working. As such, all applicants and employees must possess the right to work in the UK.
For permanent roles, Softwire offers visa sponsorship for non-UK nationals and will cover application costs for a Skilled Worker visa or Indefinite Leave to Remain. For internships and apprenticeships, we are regrettably unable to offer visa sponsorship. Non-UK nationals applying for internships or apprenticeships must already have the right to work in the UK, for example by virtue of studying in the UK and thus holding a Student visa.
Don’t see an opportunity for you?
We’re always keen to hear from people who are passionate about what they do. If you think you can bring something to our team, whether that’s huge enthusiasm or deep experience, get in touch.
