Financial Times recognises Softwire as a Leading UK Management Consultancy for the third year in a row

Softwire achieved a highly coveted place in the Financial Times UK’s Leading Management Consultants 2023 rankings for the third year running. This annual list reflects companies that are most recommended by their clients and peers.

Within the ‘IT – Implementation’ category, Softwire achieved a bronze rating, recognising the digital technology consultancy at a national level for its capabilities, and placing it alongside big global IT players like Accenture and Deloitte.

This year marks the sixth annual listing of the Financial Times’ UK’s Leading Management Consultants, compiled in partnership with the data company Statista. For 2023, only 185 consultancies are featured, with a total of 26 ranked for their expertise in IT implementation.

Leading the way: Our success in IT implementation solutions

Securing a place at the top table of IT implementation providers highlights our successes in delivering complex and often business-critical technology programmes to organisations across government, healthcare, financial services, media and leisure sectors.

Recent examples of our work include:

  • LNER: We helped LNER shape and implement a best-in-class mobile app to inform and empower travellers, which went on to win ‘Best App of the Year’ at the UK Business Tech Awards 2022. The solution achieved exceptional user ratings, increased conversions by 40% and provided the platform for further customer experience enhancements.
  • Elexon: We designed, built and implemented the groundwork phase of Elexon’s Insights Solution, including the cloud architecture, data pipelines, visualisations and API. This platform is now used by decision-makers across the British electricity market and Elexon called the benefits “genuinely transformational”.
  • Cabinet Office: We rebuilt and modernised the UK’s Register to Vote service for the Cabinet Office, to provide exceptional levels of uptime and performance during significant and unpredictable demand surges. Our solution leveraged the scalability of AWS, safeguarded against cyberthreats and reduced hosting costs.

Jonathon Artus, Client Director at Softwire, said:
