Can you accurately empathise with our audience at every stage of the funnel? Are you a whizz at repurposing content across different channels, media and audiences? Come and join our Content Team!

We’re in the middle of a rethink about how we do content at Softwire. We’re a small team with big ambitions. Our new Content Manager must combine an eye for strategy with getting their hands dirty in the creation of exciting, intelligent marketing materials to reach CTOs, CIOs and anyone looking to accelerate their digital transformation.

You’ll need to turn technical information into clear, appealing content, so you need to understand tech and our sector, but you’ll have our subject-matter experts to draw on for the gory details. If you’re quick and pragmatic but also obsessed with the placement of every semicolon and line break, you might have what we’re looking for.

The ideal candidate will ground their decision-making in data, measure impact, identify content gaps and distribution strategies to drive traffic, build engagement, and generate leads across inbound and outbound channels.

The role

  • Create high-quality and engaging content for our website, social media, campaigns, and articles
  • Partner with subject-matter experts and our Editorial Board to develop original content in a variety of formats
  • Be responsible for our social media strategy and presence across key channels
  • Help manage our podcasts as a key pillar of our content mix
  • Support the creation of e-books, whitepapers, infographics
  • Manage content-performance reporting across channels, taking a data-driven approach to planning and in-flight optimisation of content
  • Efficiently incorporate stakeholder feedback, making necessary amendments and rewrites while upholding quality standards

Key Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years experience in content marketing in B2B tech
  • An impressive portfolio demonstrating production of a wide range of content formats.
  • You can balance creativity and strategic thinking with a hands-on approach to everything you do.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on producing high-quality content
  • Experience creating content for C-Suite and similar decision-maker roles.
  • Proven ability to be data-driven and highly analytical.
  • Proficiency in SEO best practice, content optimization and the latest AI tools
  • Experience with marketing automation and analytics tools like Hubspot/GA4 etc
  • Experience with CMS tools such as WordPress
  • Experience managing external freelancers and agencies.
  • A personal style that is viewed as open-minded and collaborative
  • Capacity to work well under pressure and manage multiple projects

What we offer

Softwire operates transparent pay scales and a profit share scheme based on role and overall company performance.

  • Base salary is based on experience and ranges from £55,800 – £71,000.
  • You can expect to receive an average of between £6,500and £15,750 in profit share depending on your experience and company performance.
  • Pension: Additional 5% of salary.
